DJ DRAGONFLY

Architect of the Groovegarden shows, Dragonfly is back this year to start us off right with his unique set blending live midi, and prerecorded music, infusing World Beats with the best of today’s Breaks and Tribal House.  He is not to be missed.
6pm - 7pm
RISING SUN

This year’s DJ Stage coordinator starts off an evening of Drum and Bass with funky, bass heavy tracks sure to start you groovin’ and shakin’ that thang.
7pm - 8pm
KOZIE

Sacramento’s first lady of Drum and Bass.  She brings you the freshest cuts and an unparalleled energy in her sets that will leave you no choice but to move your body.
8pm - 9pm
BILLY LANE

The 916 Junglist himself will bring his impressive talent to Whole Earth again this year.  Superb mixes, impressive turntablism and a selection of rockin’ cuts will leave your eyes wide and your body movin’.
9pm - 10pm
DJ TAO

Founder of the Whole Earth Festival DJ Stage, and this year’s Festival Co-Director, Tao brings nothing but the best for the people. Positive energy, funky cuts and impeccable mixes will make Friday night in the Wellman pit your best grooving experience yet…..just wait for Saturday!



Saturday, May 7th
10am - 11am DJ MICHELLE

Michelle has quickly become one of the local favorites and when you hear her play, there will be no wonder why. Her fresh beats and breaks will get any dancefloor jumpin' and her energy behind the decks will put a smile on your face. Come down to the DJ Stage early and get your day started right.
11am - 12pm
DJ SHORTERM

This local talent spins a variety of musical styles including Hip Hop, House, and Two-Step Garage.  He’ll start our day off right with some serious groovin’.
12pm - 1pm
ZOOLOGIC

Born in Chicago, but calls Washington D.C. home.  This DJ was heavily influenced by the emerging Chicago House scene of the late 80’s/ early 90’s.  We are pleased to welcome Zoo for his first appearance on the WEF DJ Stage.
1pm - 2pm
DJ OMNI

Playing all over town, he has quickly become one of the favorite House DJs in Davis.  His skills on the decks certainly earn him his reputation.
2pm - 3pm
PAUL GORDON

This Sacramento electronic music promoter has been putting on shows for years for us to enjoy.  Many of the DJs on this list have played for him at one time or other.  He will grace the WEF DJ stage this year with a set of rockin’ House music.
3pm - 4pm
ENTITEE

A DJ, and a formidable Producing talent from Sacramento, he brings both Drum and Bass and Hip-hop in his bag of tricks.  You can be sure of one thing,  you will hear new rockin’ cuts that you won’t hear anywhere else ‘cause no one else has got ‘em.

RIGHTEOUS MOVEMENT    (Live PA)

Sacramento Drum and Bass/Beaks head Vega will start the evening off right with some serious Breaks guaranteed to make you dance.

We are truly blessed with this year’s line-up, and this man is just one more reason why.  His set will surely take you on a musical journey to a mystical land and make you shake your ass the whole way.  Come out and see a truly impressive talent while we keep on rockin’ into Saturday night.

DRAGN’ FLY

Bay Area electronic music diva Dragn’fly, will be returning this year to bring you more of what she did last year,  an absolutely slammin’ good time. Check out this high energy set, but don’t come if you don’t like to dance hard or see a packed pit havin’ a blast … you have been warned.
8:30pm - 10pm
LORIN

Capping off Saturday night in the pit is a man who needs no introduction, but I’ll give him one anyway.  For years he’s been rockin’ everywhere from the El Circo dome at Burningman to San Francisco’s best Party’s. His bass heavy brand of Breaks is fuel for one of the most energetic and exciting performances around …People will be talking about this night for a while to come so make sure you’re there.

Continuing on the Downtempo tip, “Funky Serenity” founder and KDVS DJ Mr.Glass will bring us solidly into Sunday for one more  day of booty shakin’.

Local favorite Sequoia drops a House and Breaks set sure to move your body through the afternoon.

Promoters of shows all over Davis over the years, this duo will show off some of their impressive DJ skills and bring you some funkiness.

SCATTERSHOT  THEORY  (Live PA)

Live sample based electronic music is this duo’s specialty.  They will impress you with a Live PA that is sure to expand your horizons and please your ears.

Closing out the 2005 Whole Earth Festival DJ stage,  this local Reggae and Dancehall DJ and WEF staff member will drop some dub for your booty, shakin’ it to a close, leaving you eagerly anticipating next year’s festival.
