DJ Stage

This year, the Walker stage and the DJ Stage combine forces to bring you an eclectic musical experience. Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm -10pm, come to this stage to hear a wide range of beats mixed, blended and remixed Live by various DJ's. On Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 5pm, this stage will feature different bands and solo performers from many genres. Dance in the sun or under the stars to everything from Live Hip Hop, Reggae, Funk & Soul to various forms of electronic music. Fed by a massive soundsystem, the dancefloor at this stage will ignite into an energetic frenzy when the sun goes down, accompanied by Firedancers and a Live Painting & Art Display. You won't want to miss any of it.

As the sun sets, this long time former KDVS dj and current WEF dj director will start to get things heated up with a blend of many styles of Drum & Bass. Come hear the beats and feel the energy from this local favorite. When asked why WEF is one of only a handful of venues where you can spot a rare performance by this local figure, he simply responded, "because I Love the Whole Earth Festival."

Kindred Spirits is a collective of 4 individuals expressing their views on the status quo through art. ADR, Numrus, Lotus, and Substense, though from diverse cultural backrounds, came together in 2005 after realizing that they all shared a common vision... Meditate All to Suppress Hate. With music being one of the most powerful mediums on the planet, and it's composition a widely practiced form of meditation, they decided to '...bring a bit of balance with their talents, like an eagle got a vision and it's sharper than the talons...' Each One contributes creative thought provoking lyrics laced with the angelic vocals of Lotus. Their expression is a mixture of Hip Hop, Drum 'n' Bass, Spoken Word, and R&B. With globally concious content and an infectious vibe, they are a much needed source of relief from today's monotonous mainstream. Keep your ears to the streets! They are a long overdue force to be reckoned with.

They have been bringing people together for years on the underground and now they are bringing it out in the open. Mountain Lion sound creates a positive atmosphere where friends and family can gather to have fun. Mountain Lion sets forth to be a  positive influence on the youths.
